Successful candidates will share our beliefs in ISU's Learning Principles. Teachers are expected to take an active part in school life beyond the classroom. They are also expected to contribute to the positive social, emotional and character development of the students.

The ideal teacher candidate must have an university degree, the appropriate teaching license or credentials and at least three years teaching experience. Preference is given to those who have been trained in one of the International Baccalaureate Programmes: Diploma, Middle Years, Primary Years. ISU values candidates who have continued their professional development, taught students from culturally diverse backgrounds and who have previously lived and worked overseas.

Junior School Learning Support/ EAL Teacher

Learning Support Teachers are responsible for supporting the academic, social and emotional needs within the Junior School by facilitating successful student access to the ISU curriculum. They will work closely with the homeroom teachers to co-plan, co-teach and assess students in an effort to meet the varying needs of students. They will play a pivotal role in developing collaborative relationships with administrators, teachers and parents to create individual education plans with clearly articulated goals and strategies.
