PYP Coordinator / Assistant Principal (Definite) - Job Description
ISU is in search of a Assistant Principal/PYP Coordinator in the Junior School who will help us to drive the growth of learning and teaching. This person will be an integral part of strategic visioning and implementation. The ideal candidate will act as a listener and coach to work alongside the Junior School teachers, students, parents to build a learning community. This position will be filled by a self motivated lead learner who models lifelong learning for others. This person is a design thinker who can tackle unique challenges with innovation and creativity; these skills will extend to planning for learning in an innovative format beyond traditional classroom teaching. The candidate is experienced in collaborative curriculum design within the PYP and has a deep understanding of child development and learning.
