October 8th 2015, the day before Independence Day, is when ISU celebrated the fifty third anniversary of Uganda's Independence. ISU is proud to announce that Brian Kiiza, the ISU Scholarship Student in this year's senior class, was awarded the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship to attend University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
During March 20 and 21st, ISU participated in the inaugural ISSEA STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) competition, which took place at the International School of Harare (HIS) in Zimbabwe. ISU welcomed the 175 athletes and coaches from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe for the ISSEA Basketball Tournament from 26-28 February 2015. In a stunning display the players showcased their outstanding skills and sportsmanship. The ISU girls team and the AISJ boys team were crowned the champions of the tournament.
