Message from the Head of School

A warm welcome to the ISU website. ISU is a not-for-profit, parent-owned co-educational school that is the only school in Uganda which offers all three International Baccalaureate programmes. ISU educates nearly 600 students, aged 2.5 to 19, who represent over 60 different nations, and is situated on a lush thirty-three acre purpose-built campus. We are located in the outskirts of Kampala in a rural setting just a few kilometers from Lake Victoria. Read more...

Spirit of Uganda dance troupe entertained and drumming resounded around the Sports Hall. Many parents attended with the Ugandans dressed in their traditional attire. The ISU- Stanbic Bank Family Fun Run had an incredible turn out two weeks ago and raised 50 million shillings! The event was a huge success with over 1000 people registering for the event. The money raised will be split between the four beneficiaries (Muni Maini Breast Cancer, Rahab Uganda, USPCA and the ISU Scholarship Fund) equally meaning each will receive 12,500,000/-. This event couldn't be possible without the help of the volunteers and the organisers who work hard to make the day a great success. We also have to thank our sponsors- Century Bottling Company, ROKO Construction, AON, Roofings, and Lake Victoria Serena Hotel.
