ISU has an optional hot lunch available to students from Early Childhood to Grade 12. ISU endeavours to provide nutritious, well-rounded meals for its students.
The meals are prepared at school and served by caterers who provide a set menu, approved by the school, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The school does not serve pork and we are able to meet most dietary requirements.

Early Childhood & Kinder
The Early Childhood offers its own Kitchen and Garden. The kitchen is run by our own catering team who prepare a fruit snack at break time and lunch consisting of both non-vegetarian and vegetarian options as well as a healthy dessert.
Teachers work with the kitchen staff in decisions about the types of meals that are most suitable to this age group taking into consideration their tastes, health, intercultural experiences and physical needs.
Grade 1 to 12
Meals are prepared in the school cafeteria by the catering company, The Bistro. The school menus are published every four weeks.
Students can also bring their own lunch from home. In Senior School, there are microwaves available for students to warm up their food.
