Capital levy: A one-time non-refundable capital levy of $10,000 ($2,000 for ISU Alumni) is charged for all students entering Grade 1 or higher. Families may apply to pay the capital levy in two instalments, the first on entry and the second at the start of the next school year.

In addition, an annual capital levy fee of $500 will be charged to all students in Grade 1 or above. For families who receive financial assistance this amount will be reduced by the same percentage amount as the financial assistance that ISU has offered.

Re-enrolment deposit: A re-enrolment deposit of $500 per student is payable in May each year. This will guarantee a place the following year for your children at ISU. This deposit will be deducted from the tuition fee for the following year. Families who notify the school in writing by 30 June that they will not be returning for the following year will receive a full refund of the deposit.

Payment methods: Payment may be made by bank transfer or direct deposit to one of the school bank accounts, or through the school business office by US$ cheque drawn on Stanbic Bank or ABSA Bank.

Late payment of school fees: Where any part of fees are not paid within 30 days of the due date, a student may be excluded from attending classes and a late payment fee of 1% may be applied to any overdue amounts.  Students will not be permitted to participate in school-sponsored trips, and school reports or transcripts will not be released, unless fee payments are up to date.

Refund of school fees: School fees paid in advance are only refundable where at least four weeks advance notice of withdrawal is given.  Refunds are calculated on a quarterly basis, no refund will be given where a student has attended for any of the quarter.
