Introducing the International School of Uganda’s 33-acre green campus. All school levels Early Childhood, Junior and Senior school are situated on one campus in Lubowa. ISU is committed to ongoing campus development to ensure our facilities are aligned with our curriculum, and 21st-century learning.
Our green campus is a garden for many indigenous plants and bird-life, we are surrounded by nature.
We have a facilities master plan which guides future planning and development. In 2015 a new Science Centre was opened and in 2022 we officially opened the Arts Centre. Our community of learners enjoy our spacious campus!

Our state of the Arts Centre includes:

These will provide wonderful performance spaces for the ISU community and will also be available for the wider Kampala community to use.
The Nurse team at ISU supports the physical and emotional health and well-being of the staff and students of the International School of Uganda. The ISU school clinic is a first aid clinic after emergency treatment referrals are carried out as needed.
Our main duties at the school’s clinic are the provision of preventative health care, curative service such as first aid and emergency treatment as well as health promotion activities such as health education.
There are always one/two nurses on duty during normal school hours. In addition, we attend to out of hours events such as Family Day and sports events as requested. We keep accurate written records of all visits to the health clinic and maintain student health records.
Our four main responsibilities:
- Prevention and care for health problems experienced by staff and students.
- Promotion of the health and well-being of staff and students.
- Ensuring that the food and drink provided on campus meets stringent standards of quality, safety and hygiene.
- Ensuring that appropriate medical supplies and first aid equipment and facilities are available on campus.
ISU is a centre for the SAT tests. All registration is done online on the CollegeBoard website.
- Registered test-takers arrive on testing day at 7:15am at the main entrance gate to ISU with
- a printed admission ticket
- a valid photo id.
- Only registered test-takers will be admitted to campus.
- Test takers taking the regular SAT will usually finish between 1-1:30pm.
ISU does not register, nor collect payments from applicants, please use the CollegeBoard website to do this. ISU does not offer SAT study sessions or classes, however, free online SAT practice is available at Official SAT Practice Khan Academy.
