Today was the first in our new Curriculum Series focusing on Mathematics.
The session was led by Sarah Ssengendo, our PYP Coordinator and Assistant Principal in the Junior School. Sarah unpacked our approach to mathematics, sharing both the brain research through to the practices of visual learning and concrete understanding of concepts. She concluded by offering a number of suggestions for families to help engage their children in mathematics learning at home. To watch the recording see the video below:
