Today Allison walked us through the concept of a digital footprint and illustrated it with powerful stories. We explored what a digital footprint is and how we need to be aware of the trail we leave through our searches, chats, messages and email. Allison reminded us that we model for our children what good digital citizenship is, and that anonymity of communication shouldn't change our principles. The digital world lacks role models, corrections from adults and space to make mistakes. So it is critical that we coach and support our children by navigating this world together.
