This week we began our Life Lessons series of workshops. Yesterday we explored “The Language of Math.” After beginning with some words of advice from Stanford Professor of Mathematics Education, Jo Boaler, we explored the different ways that mathematics can be used in our lives. We unpacked some ways that we involve our children in the world of mathematics through solving real life problems, creating and making things and simply playing games as a family.
